Setup guides
Set up Flix IPTV on your device
Every setup has the same shape: install a compatible player from its official source, then enter the login details IPTV Services emails you. These guides show that path for each device family, and say plainly where something still needs confirming.
Before you start
- Have your welcome email open. It contains a Server URL, username and password (an "Xtream Codes" login) and an M3U playlist URL.
- Install players only from the official store listing or developer site linked here. Copies of popular players on other sites can be unsafe.
- Type the Server URL exactly, including
http://orhttps://and any port number such as:8080. - Never post your username and password publicly or send your password in a support chat.
Fire TV
Fire TV Stick and Fire TV devices
Setup path available on Fire OS 7 or 8 with TiviMate IPTV Player. Needs confirmation on Fire OS 14 and Vega OS.
1. Check which software your Fire TV runs
Go to Settings → My Fire TV (called "Device & Software" or "Device" on some models) → About and look at the software version. Amazon's developer documentation lists three Vega OS sticks — Fire TV Stick 4K Select (2025), Fire TV Stick HD (2026) and Fire TV Stick 4K 3rd Gen (2026) — while models such as the Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen) still run Fire OS. If you see Fire OS 14 or Vega OS, ask support first.
2. Allow the Downloader app to install a player
TiviMate IPTV Player isn't installed from the Amazon Appstore — its developer offers a direct download for the Downloader app. Install Downloader by AFTVnews from the Amazon Appstore, then turn on Apps from Unknown Sources for it under Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. On some versions, Amazon's developer docs say Developer Options only appears after you press select seven times on About → Your TV (or your device's name).
3. Install TiviMate from its official source
In Downloader, enter the download code or address shown on TiviMate's own website. Don't use codes from other sites. TiviMate is free to install; its Premium upgrade is a separate purchase from its developer.
4. Add your Flix IPTV login
When TiviMate asks you to add a playlist, choose the Xtream Codes option and enter the Server URL, username and password from your welcome email. Channels, the guide and on-demand sections then load — the first load of a large list can take a few minutes.
Google TV & Android TV
Google TV, Android TV and TVs that run them
Setup path available with TiviMate IPTV Player from Google Play.
- Open Google Play on the TV or box and install TiviMate IPTV Player — check the developer shows as Armobsoft FZE.
- Open it, choose to add a playlist, and pick the Xtream Codes option.
- Enter the Server URL, username and password from your welcome email, then wait for the channel list to load.
- Optional: set a parental PIN in the player's settings if children use the TV.
This also applies to smart TVs built on Google TV or Android TV (many Sony, TCL, Hisense and Philips models). Check under Settings → System → About. On Android phones and tablets, TiviMate isn't designed for touch screens — ask support which player to use.
IBO Player also lists Android TV; it uses an M3U link and a paid license after a trial, so confirm with support first.
Samsung & LG
Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs
Needs confirmation — please read before paying for a player.
Samsung and LG TVs install apps only from their own stores. The verified player for both, IBO Player, works differently from the Xtream login used elsewhere: the app shows a MAC address and device key, and you add your M3U playlist URL on the developer's website (iboplayer.com), not on flixiptv.one.
Why it needs confirming
- M3U links don't load on every line — during a test in October 2026, one real line refused its M3U link. Support can confirm yours works.
- IBO Player has a 7-day trial, then a license from its developer (listed at €5 a year or €10 lifetime), which the developer says is non-refundable.
- An App Store app with a similar name comes from a different developer; use the developer's site to find the right one.
Suggested order
- Find your model: Samsung — Settings → Support → About This TV. LG — Settings → Customer Support → TV Information (LG notes the path varies by model).
- Ask support to confirm M3U playback for your line, ideally during the 24-hour trial.
- Install IBO Player from the TV's store, note the MAC address and device key it shows, and add the playlist on the developer's website during its trial.
- Only buy the player license once playback works.
Prefer a straightforward Xtream setup? A Google TV stick plugged into the same TV uses the Google TV path.
Apple
iPhone, iPad and Apple TV
Setup path available with App Store players.
- Install Smarters Player Lite (WHMCS SMARTERS) — its listing covers iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. On iPhone or iPad you can also use GSE Smart IPTV PRO, a paid app with no Apple TV version.
- Open the app and choose its Xtream Codes login option (IPTV Services' own steps call it "Login with Xtream Codes API").
- Enter any profile name you like, then the username, password and Server URL from your welcome email.
Find your model: Settings → General → About (Apple Support).
Computers
Mac and Windows
Mac with Apple silicon Setup path available
Smarters Player Lite's App Store listing includes Macs with M1 or later chips. Install it from the App Store and log in with your Xtream Codes details as on iPhone. Check your chip under Apple menu → About This Mac.
Windows, or an Intel Mac Needs confirmation
We haven't verified a Windows player with an Xtream login from an official source. VLC (free, from VideoLAN) can open your M3U playlist URL via Media → Open Network Stream, but it's a general media player: no TV guide, no series browsing, and M3U links don't work on every line. Ask support what they recommend for your computer.
Not working?
- Login rejected: re-type the Server URL exactly (scheme and port included) and check for spaces copied from the email.
- Channels load but some won't play: note the channel name and time, try another channel, then tell support.
- One screen stops when another starts: you've reached your plan's connection limit.
- Nothing loads at all: check the subscription hasn't expired and the device has internet, then contact support.
