The short answer
An IPTV subscription is viewing access: a provider's channels and on-demand library for a set time, with a set number of streams at once. An IPTV player is software: an app on your TV, stick, phone or computer that signs in to that access and shows it on screen. You need both. They usually come from different companies. Some players are free; any software charge is separate from the viewing plan.
flixiptv.one sells the first one — the Flix IPTV subscription. It doesn't make, sell or activate any player app, including apps that happen to have "Flix" in their name.
What a subscription does
A subscription is what makes content available to you. With Flix IPTV, that means:
- access to a live channel list and an on-demand library of movies and series;
- a login — a Server URL, username and password, plus an M3U playlist link — emailed after payment by IPTV Services, which handles checkout and support;
- a limit on simultaneous streams (your plan's connections);
- a fixed prepaid term. Flix IPTV plans are one USD total for 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 months, with no automatic billing.
Without a supplied playlist or compatible viewing login, a player app may have nothing to show. Many dedicated IPTV players ship empty and say so in their listings — TiviMate's Google Play listing, for example, notes that paid upgrades "unlock application features only".
What a player does
The player is the part you look at. It stores your login, downloads the channel list and TV guide, sorts on-demand titles into categories and plays the streams. Good players add favorites, search, parental locks and a guide grid. They differ mostly in which devices they run on, which login formats they accept and what they charge.
Players we've checked for Flix IPTV include:
- TiviMate IPTV Player by Armobsoft FZE — built for Android TV and Google TV; accepts Xtream Codes and M3U.
- Smarters Player Lite by WHMCS SMARTERS — iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple-silicon Macs.
- GSE Smart IPTV PRO by GSE TECHNOLOGY LTD — iPhone and iPad; Xtream Codes and M3U.
- IBO Player by IBO DEV Ltd. — smart TVs and more; playlists are added by M3U link on its own website.
- VLC media player by VideoLAN — a general-purpose media player that can open an M3U link.
The devices page shows which of these fits your device.
Two separate fees
Because they're separate products, buying or renewing a viewing subscription does not buy or renew a third-party app licence. Player pricing comes in several shapes. The following examples reflect the listings checked on 14 October 2026; check the developer's current purchase screen before paying:
- Free with optional upgrade — TiviMate (Premium sold by its developer) and Smarters Player Lite (optional in-app upgrade).
- Paid upfront — GSE Smart IPTV PRO is a paid App Store download.
- Trial, then license — IBO Player gives 7 days, then sells a yearly or lifetime license that its developer says is non-refundable.
- Recurring app subscriptions — some players, including one of the Flix-named apps below, sell weekly, monthly or yearly in-app subscriptions.
A Flix IPTV plan, by contrast, is a single prepaid total — for example $80 USD for 12 months with one connection. When you budget, add the player's cost (if any) on top, and check whether that player charges again later.
For the Evolution World Flix IPTV player specifically, our October 18, 2026 source check did not establish a current activation price or licence duration. Do not assume a widely repeated one-time fee applies to the exact app you have installed. The app source directory identifies the different publishers.
Activation sites and MAC addresses
Some players — especially on Samsung and LG TVs — don't let you type a login on the TV. Instead the app shows a MAC address (a device identifier) and often a device key. You go to the player developer's website, enter those, upload a playlist link and, after a trial, pay the developer to activate the app on that TV.
That's a player activation. It's paid to the player's developer and covers the app, not any channels. A viewing plan sold here is not an app activation, and flixiptv.one has no app-activation portal. If a website asks for a MAC identifier, device key and payment, check whose app you are activating. Use the portal identified inside that exact app; do not post your device key or playlist credentials publicly.
The "Flix" name: who is who
Different products use "Flix" in their name. We checked the following app identities against primary store and publisher-linked sources on October 18, 2026. This is independent guidance: flixiptv.one does not publish, sell or activate these apps, and a shared name does not establish a publisher affiliation.
| Name you may see | What it is | How it charges |
|---|---|---|
| Flix IPTV (flixiptv.one — this site) | IPTV subscription. Checkout and support by IPTV Services. | One prepaid USD total per term; no auto-billing |
| "Flix IPTV Player" (net.flixapp.player) | Evolution World FZCO player; store listing links flixapp.net and the app site links the same package | Any app charge is separate; current activation price and licence duration were not verified |
| "Flix Pro Player" (flix.pro.player) | Different player listed by Logic Titans; store support links flixproplayer.com | Its developer's own software terms; no current app fee quoted here |
| "Flix: IPTV Smarters Player" (Apple ID 6736383503) | Different iPhone player by Muhammad Arif Jamil; Join App Studio copyright | Separate in-app purchases and renewal terms, per the store listing |
| Other "Flix"-named IPTV sellers | Separate websites selling subscriptions | Their own terms |
Some Evolution World store records are cached and current availability differs by device and region. These source checks establish app identity, not that an app was installed or tested on your model. Use the download and publisher guide to check the matching source.
A simple test: Flix IPTV's checkout is always on iptvservices.online, reached from flixiptv.one. If a Flix-named site sends you to a different checkout, it's a different seller as far as we can confirm.
How to tell what you are buying
- It's a subscription if you choose a term (months) and a number of connections, and receive a login by email.
- It's a player if you download it from an app store or developer site, and it asks you to add a playlist or login.
- It's a player activation if a website asks for your TV's MAC address or device key and charges you to unlock the app.
- Check the seller's name on the checkout page and the developer's name on the app listing — they rarely match, and that's normal.
Where flixiptv.one fits
We supply the subscription, explain which players we've verified for each device, and link only to their official store listings or publisher-linked documentation, with dates and availability limits. We don't host app downloads, sell player licenses or activate apps. If you're unsure which player to use, the device check gives a specific answer, and you can try the service first with the 24-hour trial.
